Resorts in Turkey have recorded a sharp increase in the number of cases of coronavirus after the resumption of flights with Russia. This was stated by the head of the Turkish Ministry of Health Fahrettin Koca, – “Euronews” reports.
For the first time in a long time, we see a serious increase in the number of infections, – said the source. Over the past day, 1,084 new patients with confirmed coronavirus have been identified. Russia has resumed flights with a number of countries since August 1, which was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Prior to that, only export flights were allowed, with which Russians were returned to their homeland.
Since the beginning of August, flights have resumed with Great Britain, Turkey and Tanzania. Until August 10, planes from Russia will fly only to Istanbul and Ankara. Then flights will begin to three other Turkish resorts – Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman. From August 15, regular communication with Switzerland is also resumed.
According to the WHO, 234,934 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Turkey, while 5,765 patients have died.

The cash allowance will be received by 643 children who are being raised in families of close relatives. The Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) will pay a monthly cash allowance to 643 orphans in Dushanbe, – a message from the society on Facebook.
