Juventus send Sarri out after relegation from Champions League

Head coach of Juventus Turin Mauricio Sarri left his post at the club. The club’s management decided to dismiss the 61-year-old Italian specialist a year after his appointment.

Recall that on the eve of “Juventus” took off from Champions league, losing on aggregate to the French “Lyon”. The first meeting before the pandemic, the footballers of the “Old Lady” lost 0: 1, the second won 2: 1, but due to the guest goal of the French team, they were left without a ticket to the quarter finals. Then “Lyon” made its way.

Earlier, Sarri led Juve to the Italian title, which became the ninth in a row for the team and 36th in history.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Turin team has already begun drawing up a list of candidates for the head coach of the Bianconeri. One of the main contenders for the coaching chair in “Juventus” is Simone Inzaghi, who now heads the Roman “Lazio”.
