The EAEU calls on the European Union for integration. Karine Minasyan, a member of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, stated this in Berlin yesterday.
According to her, the main goals of the EAEU are to fully ensure the freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor, without exceptions and restrictions. The task is to modernize the economies of the countries of the union through coordinated, coordinated or unified policies in various sectors and the creation of a single infrastructure.
“The European and Eurasian Economic Unions need to cooperate. Investments from Europe account for about 70 percent of all accumulated foreign direct investment in the EAEU. At the same time, 65 percent of the investments of the EAEU countries are investments in the EU countries. The EU accounts for more than 50 percent of the EAEU trade turnover. Unfortunately, recently we have been recording a decrease in its volume. For seven months of 2015, the decline is about $ 100 billion, or 38 percent. This is followed by a change in the structure and the loss of the existing economic and trade ties. This is happening at a time when Europe and Eurasia are going through difficult times, ”Karine Minasyan emphasized.
“Now our associations need additional incentives for economic development. We have proposed a formula that is understandable for everyone – “integration of integrations”. A document on the start of a high-level expert dialogue has been prepared and sent to Brussels to develop effective mechanisms for interaction between the European and Eurasian Economic Unions. There are all the necessary conditions for rapprochement, ”Karine Minasyan said.
