In total, $ 333.3 million was attracted from international donors to Kyrgyzstan during the fight against coronavirus. Deputy Finance Minister Abdybaly Tegin Suerkul announced this at a briefing.
According to him, the money was directed to support the budget ($ 260.2 million), health sectors ($ 44.1 million) and the economy ($ 29 million).
“Out of $ 260.2 million, or 20 billion 448.4 million soms, which were allocated to support the state budget, 7.4 billion soms were reserved, and 12.4 billion were spent. Of these, 7 billion 69 million soms – for the salaries of employees in the health sector, education and law enforcement agencies. Another 860 million soms are intended for social payments, 2 billion soms – for pensions and benefits, ”he said.
