Kyrgyz fighter Muslim Yevloyev killed during counter-terrorist operation

Asian champion in freestyle wrestling, 25-year-old Muslim Yevloyev, who fought for Kyrgyzstan, was killed during the counter-terrorist operation in Ingushetia. This is reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

The publication writes that during this operation two armed bandits were killed. According to preliminary information, one of the victims turned out to be a famous athlete who tried to resist the security forces and was destroyed by return fire.

– During a special operation, a member of the gang underground tried to resist the employees and was destroyed. According to preliminary results of identification, the deceased is 25-year-old Muslim Yevloyev, the source quoted the publication.

Muslim Yevloyev played for Kyrgyzstan. The fighter has earned three gold and one silver medals in various competitions during his career. In 2018 he became the champions of Asia in freestyle wrestling.

Let us remind you that the counter-terrorist operation took place in Naznan and the village of Sagopshi in Ingushetia. One member of the bandit underground was detained and two were destroyed. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported that the militants were preparing terrorist attacks on the territory of the republic. During the searches, weapons and an explosive device were found.
