The state mortgage company of Kyrgyzstan has simplified the conditions for obtaining a loan for individual housing construction. This was reported by the press service of the State Electoral Commission.
It is noted that now a loan for building a house is issued at 14 percent per annum for the first 18 months with the condition of paying an initial payment of 20 percent of the loan amount. After the completion of the construction of the house and acceptance into operation, the rate will be 10 percent per annum. The maximum loan amount is up to 3 million soms for a period of up to 15 years.
GIK has made changes to the requirements:
- the limitation on the percentage of housing readiness is excluded;
- construction costs of unfinished housing can be taken into account when calculating your own contribution;
- the requirement of technical supervision is excluded.
The changes took effect on February 1, 2017.
