The first joint film of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan “Delbirim” will be released in December 2018, on the occasion of the birthday of Chingiz Aitmatov. About it IA «24.kg» said the producer of the film, Parizat Dzhakypbekova.
According to her, almost half of the film timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the people’s writer has already been filmed.
“We have now finished our work in Namangan. The creative team was given time to rest, and in about a week we will resume shooting. Now we will shoot in Issyk-Kul or in Tashkent, ”Parizat Dzhakypbekova said.
Note that the script for “Delbirim” was written on the basis of Ch. Aitmatov’s story “My Poplar in a Red Headscarf”.
The preliminary budget for the film is estimated at $ 200,000.
“With Uzbekkino, we negotiated cooperation a year and a half ago. They offered to shoot “Delbirim” in honor of Aitmatov’s anniversary. Kyrgyz playwright Kerez Zarlykova and Uzbek director Sardar Karimov worked on the script. The costs of filming in Uzbekistan are fully covered by Uzbekkino, including the fees of its actors. We undertake the work in Kyrgyzstan and pay for our actors. We really hope that our government will also provide some kind of support, ”said the film’s producer.
In the film, the female roles are played by Kyrgyz actresses Elina Abay kyzy and Madina Talipbek, and the stars of Uzbek cinema Adiz Radjabov and Ulugbek Kadyrov were chosen for the male roles.
