CEC Head: Samara.kg could not influence the voting results »Elections» www.24.kg

, Bishkek – 24.kg,

CEC Chairperson Nurzhan Shildabekova today at a press conference, answering journalists’ questions, said that the samara.kg website had no influence on the voting process.

According to her, this site has nothing to do with the CEC system.

“The data that were announced after the processing of the ballots are preliminary. The main thing is the manual counting of votes, and, as practice shows, the discrepancies turned out to be small. I repeat: the counting system worked without external influences. These are reliable results, and I, as the head of the CEC, guarantee this, “Nurzhan Shildabekova said.

She added that the voter data leaks could have been from the voters themselves. The CEC is aware that some citizens themselves voluntarily gave their passports to campaigners of presidential candidates. The members of the commission are also aware of the so-called letters of happiness, “addressed personally to voters. The CEC also plans to deal with these facts.

The presidential elections were held on October 15. Sooronbai Jeenbekov, a candidate from SDPK, won. He received 54.22 percent of the vote.
