Khujand, 06.08.2020. / NIAT “Khovar” /. The Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics has more than 7,000 students, 330 of whom are citizens of neighboring republics. Following the spread of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the university plans to accept foreigners to study online in the 2020-2021 academic year. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported at the rector of the university Mumin Sharifzoda.
It was noted that on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics a number of important facilities will be built and put into operation. In particular, in order to create favorable conditions for education and recreation for teachers, it is planned to build a ten-storey residential building and an additional educational building for students, a dormitory, a stadium and a conference hall.
To date, in honor of this memorable date with the participation of the working community of the institution in the framework of creative and beautification activities at the university completed the reconstruction of the entrance to the main building, paving the sidewalks, landscaping around the university educational buildings and squares, planting evergreen trees and flowers. the serious preparation of the working community of the university for a worthy welcome to this great national holiday.
In connection with the preparations for the new academic year, it was noted that one of the phenomena of the new academic year is that this year in the process of creating several new specialties, such as social entrepreneurship, digital economy, computer science, as well as university admissions in 6 pedagogical specialties. basics of state and law, mathematics and computer science, English language, economic theory and religion. In the future, after graduating from these specialties, students can work in higher and secondary schools.
Dedicated to the Twentieth Anniversary of the study and development of natural sciences, exact sciences and mathematics in the field of science and education “in the 2020-2021 academic year, the university plans to introduce 11 new specialties, and this year the university will accept applicants in 39 specialties.
Regarding the foreign relations of the university and the education of students from foreign countries, it was noted that today the university has mutually beneficial cooperation agreements with more than 50 foreign research, educational and cultural institutions.
