In Uzbekistan, medical personnel who treat patients with coronavirus outside the hospital will be held accountable. This is reported in the Koronavirus info channel with a link to press service of the Ministry of Health of the country.

It is forbidden to treat patients with coronavirus infection with injection and infusion drugs, as well as to carry out the therapy prescribed by a doctor outside the established medical institutions.

At the same time, letters of guarantee will be received from doctors and nurses working in all medical institutions of the country.

Heads of private health care providers are also encouraged to follow this rule.

“The actions of employees who violated the established procedure will be regarded as contrary to the order of the Minister of Health dated August 5 on improving work to combat coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, as well as the procedure and recommendations of the sixth edition of the interim guidelines for the treatment of patients with COVID-19, and they will be involved to responsibility, ”the press service of the Ministry of Health said.

In Uzbekistan, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has reached 29,225. Currently, 20,380 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country, and another 8,662 people are continuing treatment for coronavirus infection. The number of victims of the new coronavirus in Uzbekistan has reached 183 people.
