Tajik forecasters predict glacial mudflows

Avesta.Tj | 08.08.2020 | The Agency for Hydrometeorology of Tajikistan predicts the likelihood of mudflows in the coming days in the mountainous and foothill regions of the country.
According to the synoptic department, from 7 to 9 August, the passage of glacial (glacial) floods is expected in the mountainous and foothill regions of republican subordination.
The likelihood of floods in the Sughd region and the western regions of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region is not excluded.
As for the weather for today, August 8, according to weather forecasters, it will be hot everywhere. In the south of the country, the air temperature will warm to over 40 degrees.
It is also hot in other regions of the country, as well as in the city of Dushanbe, where the thermometer will rise to +39.
It will be a little cool in the high-mountainous Murghab region, where the daytime air temperature will be 22-24 degrees Celsius.
