Bukhara airport director dies of coronavirus

The director of Bukhara International Airport, former Senator Tokhir Bakhronov, has died at the age of 61. The press service of the Bukhara region administration reported that he was diagnosed with coronavirus.

In 1999-2004, Tokhir Bakhronov was a deputy of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, in 2014-2019 – a deputy of the Bukhara regional kengash, in 2014-2019 – a member of the Senate.

Recall that on July 31 in Nukus at the age of 72, the chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, deputy chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Musa Yerniyazov, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, died.

On July 31, at the age of 53, the judge of the Tashkent Regional Criminal Court Khairiddin Shermukhamedov, who was also receiving treatment for coronavirus, died. He chaired the trial in the case of the founder of the financial pyramid, Akhmad Tursunbayev, known by the nickname “Akhmadbai”.

On August 1, the death of the prosecutor of the Taylak district of the Samarkand region, Farkhod Abdukholikov, was reported. He was 58 years old. According to UzA, he was diagnosed with a coronavirus.
