Entrance exams to higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan will begin on September 2. About this on August 7 at a briefing at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications (AIMK) reported Deputy Director of the State Testing Center Sardor Radjabov.

According to him, the tests will last for 14 days.

Early Freedom reported that, due to the coronavirus in Uzbekistan, entrance exams to universities will be held at the open central stadiums of Tashkent and regional centers.

During Friday’s briefing, the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan Dilmurod Nabiyev said that it is planned to use about 40 stadiums out of 155 available for entrance tests.

Sardor Radjabov also added that applicants with confirmed coronavirus will not be admitted to test trials. In addition, those who have recovered from the coronavirus will have to provide an appropriate certificate of recovery.

During a briefing at the AIMC, the head of the State Testing Center Barno Rajabov added that measures are currently being discussed to return the payment for participation in testing to applicants infected with coronavirus.
