On July 31, the United Arab Emirates sent an aircraft to Turkmenistan containing 60 tons of medical equipment. It is reported by arzuw.news with a link to wam.ae.

This cargo accounts for 2/3 of the planned 90 tons of medical equipment supplies to Turkmenistan from the UAE, allocated to support approximately 90 thousand medical workers who work under the state Acute Infectious Disease Preparedness Plan.

“The UAE and Turkmenistan maintain outstanding bilateral relations, marked by the support of the leadership of both friendly countries in efforts to consistently strengthen and develop relations on all fronts to achieve common interests,” said Chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Turkmenistan Abdulaziz al-Hashimi.

Turkmenistan and the UAE are sealed by long-standing mutually beneficial partnerships. Earlier this month, the countries agreed to a digital education partnership. At the beginning of the year, businessmen from the UAE began purchasing urea produced in Turkmenistan.
