The duration of the medical certificate for domestic flights has been reduced to 3 days | Arzuw NEWS

August 8, Ashgabat, / Arzuw NEWS /. Agency “Turkmenhowayollary” (Turkmen Airlines – approx. ed.) from August 5, requires passengers on all domestic flights to present a medical certificate with their ticket upon check-in. Passengers without a medical certificate are not allowed to fly. Arzuw NEWS was informed about this by a specialist of the information service of the Ashgabat airport.

From 10 August 2020 the rules are being updated. This was reported by the reference service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, which Arzuw NEWS contacted directly. The period of validity of a medical certificate on the state of health issued by subordinate institutions is now 72 hours (3 days).

Citizens should consult family doctors at the local polyclinics. To obtain a medical certificate, students need to go to a special Student Health Center in Ashgabat at the address: st. Gorogly (street 1 May), 82.

To obtain a certificate, you need an original passport, one 3/4 photo and a student’s or citizen’s medical card. Using the above paper form, health is assessed based on a complete blood count and lung fluorography results.

The cost of passing tests is 43.20 manats (at the Student Health Center in Ashgabat). When providing health insurance, the cost is reduced. Payments are also made using bank cards.
