The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has introduced a pilot phase of the electronic document management system, reported on official website customs authority. The project is being implemented jointly with the Asman Oky enterprise.
“During the first stage of the project, this system was installed, configured and launched. As practice shows, the system creates an opportunity for a rational organization of office work and significantly reduces the time it takes to complete work, which will positively affect the analysis and adoption of managerial decisions, ”the message says.
As a reminder, from January 1, 2020, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has completely switched to electronic customs declaration using the system ASYCUDA World… The system automatically processes 16 million customs declarations per year.
The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was established on November 4, 1991. The work of the service is divided into several areas – collection of customs duties, statistical reporting and analysis of cargo flows, and others. The structure of the institution includes velayat customs with posts, whose work is related to domestic and cross-border road, rail, sea and air transportation.
