China implements incentive policies for the development of IC and software industries

Avesta.Tj | 06.08.2020 | China has unveiled a series of policy measures to support the high quality development of the integrated circuit / IC / and software industries.
These measures include tax incentives for IP and software businesses, financial support through investment funds established by the central government and local governments, and effective protection of intellectual property rights for industry enterprises, and policies to promote relevant research, trade, training of specialists, application in the market and international cooperation, according to a document published recently by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Xinhua reports.
All IP and software companies established in China can benefit from the aforementioned incentive policies, regardless of ownership. In addition, the country will improve its business environment for investment and business development of international companies in these two industries, the document says.
Relevant government departments and local authorities need to develop support policies as soon as possible to promote high-quality development of the IP and software industries in the country, the document says.
