In order to increase the efficiency of traditional fields and develop new deposits – mainly deep-seated and with hard-to-recover reserves, the specialists of the State Concern “Türkmennebit” are expanding cooperation with foreign companies in the field of high-tech services, which can significantly increase the level of oil production in Turkmenistan. It is reported by turkmenportal.com.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 4 million 850 thousand tons of “black gold” have been extracted from the depths of the country, taking into account the contribution of foreign partners developing deposits in accordance with the Production Sharing Agreements. Of these, more than 1 million 950 thousand tons of oil were produced by employees of the State Concern “Türkmennebit”.
Ensuring the stable operation of the oil and gas industry is directly related to the modernization of infrastructure and production facilities, upgrading machinery and equipment, and introducing efficient technologies. As an example, we can note the productive work in the field of exploration and development of deposits by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Dragon oil (UAE), Petronas (Malaysia), Eni (Italy), Mitro International (Austria ), as well as leading companies in Japan and the Republic of Korea in the construction of high-tech industrial complexes for oil and gas processing.
The existing good prospects of significant oil and gas reserves on the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea will also help to increase the increase in hydrocarbon reserves and strengthen the resource base of the complex.
