Over 130 companies from 14 countries of the world – China, Russia, Germany, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Austria, France, Greece, Finland, Poland, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine – take part in the exhibition.
The priority area of the building materials industry is the production of cement. It is a high-strength Portland cement used in the construction of multi-storey buildings and other facilities in the seismic zone. For the oil and gas industry, the production of oil well cement, as well as sulfate-resistant cement, used in laying foundations, building bridge supports and other hydraulic structures, has been mastered.
The exhibition also features enterprises specializing in the production of ceramic bricks, fittings, metal profiles, plastic and fiberglass pipes.
The model presented at the exhibition introduces an innovative project of a combined gas-steam power plant with a capacity of 1574 MW, being built on the territory of the Mary hydroelectric power station by order of the State Electric Power Corporation “Turkmenenergo”. With the commissioning of this facility, the total capacity of the leading hydroelectric power plant in Turkmenistan will double. The project is environmentally friendly, practically waste-free production and resource saving, since not only gas, but also water vapor will serve as fuel.
At the conference “Development of the construction industry of Turkmenistan” the reports of the participants were devoted to the implementation of various construction projects, increasing the reliability and strength of the structures being erected, compliance with environmental and seismic safety requirements, and the prospects for international cooperation in this area.
