Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan hosts webin – Turkmenistan Live

The webinar dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan was organized yesterday by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan jointly with the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan.

The webinar was attended by Turkmen diplomats, President of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan Khalid Amir Jafferi, researchers of this center, geopolitician for Turkmenistan and the CIS countries Mehmud Ul-Hassan Khan, Director of the Center for Regional Studies of the University of Peshawar Shabir Ahmed, representatives of analytical centers, media, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in this country.

It was noted that Turkmenistan has established itself as a center of reconciliation over the years of permanent neutrality. Acting as an effective and reliable instrument of diplomacy, the positive neutrality of Turkmenistan occupies a special place in strengthening peace, security and sustainable development on an international scale.

During the meeting, they also noted the opportunities for the socio-economic development of the region and strengthening regional cooperation through the implementation of joint projects, such as the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline, an electricity transmission line and a fiber-optic communication system Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan. reported by
