The President of Turkmenistan expresses condolences to the Indian leadership on the plane crash in Kozhikode

On behalf of the people and the Government, as well as on his own behalf, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to the President of the Republic of India Rama Nath Kovind and the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi in connection with the crash of a passenger plane at the International Airport of Kozhikode, Kerala, which resulted in numerous human casualties and mutilation.

The head of state conveyed words of deep empathy and support at this difficult moment to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims, the Vatan news program of Turkmen television reported.

Yesterday, according to the Hindustan Times, as a result of the hard landing of an Air India plane at Kozhikode airport, 20 people died and more than 140 were injured.
