Russian football club “Rostov” will play in the third qualifying round of the Europa League with the winner of the confrontation between Kazakhstani “Kairat” and his rival in the second qualifying round. These are the results of the draw, which took place on Tuesday in Nyon, Switzerland.
The opponent of the Kazakh team will be the winner of the first round pair between Maccabi-Haifa (Israel) and Zheleznicar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), which could not identify the strongest on August 27 in Haifa due to cases of coronavirus infection in the Sarajevo team.
Rostov got the right to play in the third qualifying round of the Europa League thanks to the fifth place in the previous season of the Russian Premier League (RPL). They will play their opening match in the European Cup at home on 24 September.
