Bishkek will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow in the Great Patriotic War. About it IA «24.kg» reported in the office of the Moscow government in Kyrgyzstan.

According to him, the celebration will be held on December 5 with the participation of veterans and representatives of the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Reportedly, two veterans of the Great Patriotic War from Kyrgyzstan – S. Eraliev and K. Frolov were invited to the anniversary events in Moscow (Russia).

The Battle of Moscow (1941-1942) is one of the most ambitious during the Second World War in terms of the number of troops involved and losses incurred. The defeat of the German troops near Moscow became the decisive military-political event of the first year of the Great Patriotic War.
