People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Boris Klyuev died in Moscow at the age of 77. TASS news agency reports. As the director of the Maly Theater Tamara Mikhailova said, the actor was seriously ill. The time and place of the funeral is still unknown.
Klyuev was born into an acting family, at the age of four he lost his father. As a teenager, he unloaded wagons to help the family. A graduate of the Shchepkin Theater School, after graduation he entered the Maly Theater, where he began with extras, but soon began to play prominent roles.
He acted in films a lot. His most famous roles are Count Rochefort in the film D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers by Georgy Jungvald-Khilkevich and Mycroft Holmes, the brother of the famous detective in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, directed by Igor Maslennikov.
