The PA Ministry of Health reported that a 23-year-old woman was killed in Jenin as a result of the fire opened by IDF soldiers. The incident allegedly took place on the morning of Friday, August 7, when Israeli soldiers arrived at the house where the newly released prisoner lives.

The press service of the Israel Defense Forces commented on this message, stressing that in the morning, in the Jenin area, during the operation to detain suspects by the IDF, serious riots broke out. The servicemen were forced to use means to disperse the crowd, but no live ammunition was used at any stage of the confrontation.
