58.5 tons of apples from Kyrgyzstan were not allowed to be imported into the Novosibirsk region of Russia. This was reported by the RF Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
According to the ministry, the ban on the import of regulated products followed after it turned out that there were no relevant documents.
“When inspecting the cargo, it was found that there was no labeling on the package containing information about the name of the product, its country of origin, exporter and (or) re-exporter.
In accordance with the requirements of the quarantine legislation, the import of all regulated products of high phytosanitary risk into the territory of the Russian Federation is prohibited, ”the department noted.
