Можно ли российским резервистам выезжать на территорию Грузии и Казахстана

A week ago, partial mobilization was announced in Russia. This caused unrest in society, especially among those who had already served in the army. Some of them decided to travel abroad to the nearest states. The journalists learned whether Georgia and Kazakhstan would extradite Russian reservists, the latest news about the situation on the border of Russia and neighboring countries.

Will Georgia issue reservists

The situation was commented by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country Vakhtang Gomelauri. According to him, there is no reason to close the Russian-Georgian border.

Journalists asked the head of the department if it was true that about 250,000 Russian citizens tried to enter the country per day. The Minister said that he knew nothing about it. Indeed, there was a slight increase in the flow of tourists from Russia, but he did not confirm such figures.

Georgia is not going to close the border for Russian citizens. Officially, there is no information whether the country will extradite Russian reservists.

At the same time, some media write that in North Ossetia they are going to introduce an emergency regime due to the influx of Russian citizens. Allegedly, this option is considered by the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo.

The Web also writes about long queues and traffic jams in which people literally spend the night. Internet portal Baza published an article that the police at the border staged requisitions. They demand a large sum for the opportunity to bypass the line. A detachment of “vigilantes” was even created to prevent passage along the side of the road, bypassing waiting cars.

Does Kazakhstan extradite evaders

The country’s authorities have already announced that they are ready to return reservists to Russia. However, this does not apply to everyone. Which of the reservists will be returned to their homeland, said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Akhmetzhanov, at a briefing.

The official recalled that an agreement was concluded between the states on the extradition of criminals and those who are suspected of committing illegal acts. If a evader is put on the wanted list in Russia, he will not be able to find shelter in Kazakhstan. At the same time, everyone who has not been handed a summons in the Russian Federation will be able to freely stay in the country.
