Manaschi Rysbay Isakov enters Guinness Book of Records by reciting Manas epic for 124 hours

AKIPRESS.COM – Honored Artist of Kyrgyzstan, manaschi Rysbay Isakov entered the Guinness Book of Records for narrating the epic of Manas for 124 hours, the Ministry of Culture reports.

Isakov narrated the epic for more than five days as part of Manas week, which takes place in Bursa, Turkey.

The official information about registration in the Guinness Book was confirmed by the representative of the book in Turkey and Central Asian countries.

Chief Adviser to the President of Turkey Yalchin Topcu, Secretary General of the TURKSOY International Organization Sultan Raev, Mayor of Bursa Alinur Aktash and Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Kubanychbek Omuraliev attended the event.

The Manas epic week has been held since September 21 in honor of the IV World Nomad Games. Manaschi from Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey arrived to tell the epic.
