Farid Niyazov, adviser to ex-president Almazbek Atambayev, commented on the Internet post of the press secretary of the current head of state, Tolgonai Stamalieva.
He noted that he does not want to respond to “personal accusations and petty grievances.”
“I regard the appearance of the Internet post of the press secretary as a desire to justify the behavior of Sooronbai Sharipovich. This is a desperate attempt by a person close to the president to divert public opinion from the topic of betrayal, which is so unpleasant for them. By any means, lies, falsification of facts, whatever you like, ”says Farid Niyazov.

He claims that at the beginning of 2016, Sooronbai Jeenbekov was on the list of potential SDPK candidates for the 2017 presidential election.
“That is why Sooronbai Jeenbekov was consistently promoted to leadership positions and became prime minister as a representative of the SDPK. Yes, during the period of nomination as a presidential candidate there were many disputes within the party, many dissatisfied with this choice. But we managed to convince the party members, and the main argument was the desire of the SDPK to strengthen the unity of the people, ”said Farid Niyazov.
He recalled that Almazbek Atambayev spoiled relations with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev because of his meeting with Omurbek Babanov.
“Kyrgyzstan then opposed the interference of a neighboring country in our internal affairs and presidential elections. This scandal hit Omurbek Babanov’s rating and played into the hands of Sooronbai Jeenbekov. Even today, if the people criticize Atambayev, it is largely because “he drove out Babanov” and “brought Jeenbekov,” says Farid Niyazov.
