Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov took part in the international forum “Eurasian Dialogue on the Labor Market”. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the importance and timeliness of this event, which is taking place within the framework of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet.
“”Such events, taking place in such a turbulent time, when governments of countries face new challenges, allow finding ways to solve problems related to changes in ensuring employment and maintaining jobs,” said Akylbek Zhaparov.
He also stated the need to focus on solving the following tasks.
“First of all, it is the preservation of employment of the population of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union through the creation of flexible mechanisms to promote the employment of citizens, in accordance with the changing needs for labor resources. Secondly, inflation, which has become global in nature, should not eat into the incomes of workers. Thirdly, production of high-tech goods and digital products, the entry of which into the market of the integration association is currently difficult. This requires skilled workers who are able to invent and adapt new technologies to the needs of society,” the Prime Minister noted.
Akylbek Zhaparov expressed hope that this forum would become an annual platform where both the exchange of views and the measurement of progress made towards the implementation of integration goals would take place. “On this site, minds have gathered that should solve the problems of our labor migrants. We must develop the most comfortable working conditions for them within the countries of our union. You have been entrusted with a responsible mission,” the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers concluded.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the two-day work of the forum, topical issues of social security of the rights of workers in the EAEU states and members of their families in the state of employment, problematic issues that arise for workers and members of their families during their stay in the state of employment, assistance in the development of organized forms of employment will be discussed within the framework of Eurasian integration.
As a result of the event, it is planned to adopt a resolution developed on the basis of proposals and initiatives of the participants of the international forum.”
