Quite a bit of time has passed since the outrageous Boris Johnson was replaced as Prime Minister of Britain by Liz Truss. But she has already managed to hear a share of criticism addressed to her. In a commentary to PolitExpert, political scientist Vladimir Kornilov told what the reason for dissatisfaction with the new prime minister is and how soon a vote of no confidence will be announced.

It is worth noting that the economic crisis has not bypassed the British kingdom. And under Liz Truss, the economy even threatens to go into a steep peak, which will be confirmed by rising inflation and the risk of impoverishment of the population.

As Vladimir Kornilov notes, the draft budget presented by the new prime minister looks more like a very desperate gamble, in which the government intends to go for broke, putting the entire economy of the country at stake. That’s just, the political scientist says, Truss does not at all live up to another woman who led Britain at one time – Margaret Thatcher. Therefore, her whole idea can turn into a serious failure.
