The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration plans to issue 100,000 soms to 10,000 low-income families in 2023 to start a business.

Currently, the department is actively promoting new methods of combating poverty.

“At the beginning of the year, we piloted the Social Contract project, under which 100 low-income families in the Jumgal and Kadamdzhai districts received 100,000 soms to start their own business. All participants were successful. Based on this experience, the project covered 2.8 thousand families throughout the country, who previously received the “Ui-bulogo komok” allowance. Almost 300 million soms have been allocated from the budget,” said Deputy Minister Nurdoolot Bazarbayev.
