The IV World Cattle Games have been launched in Turkey


On September 29, the IV World Cattle Games were launched in Turkey. The competition will be held from September 29 to October 2 in Iznik district of Bursa province in the northwest of the country. The Charva Games have been held three times before (in 2014, 2016 and 2018) on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. The organizer of the competition is the World Ethnosports Confederation.

The opening ceremony of the Games was attended by high-ranking officials of the country. More than 3,000 athletes from 102 countries are participating in the Games. Competitions are held in 13 sports. Athletes will test their skills in wrestling, equestrian sports and archery.

Workshops and tents were set up at the site of the games. All those who wish can taste the blessings of the national cuisine prepared here. In addition, visitors are given the opportunity to try their hand at horse riding, archery and scouting. Playgrounds and art workshops are open for children. A concert program is planned. The Turkish Air Force’s Turkish Stars pilot group will perform an exciting air show.
