Villagers from Arka suggest MPs should come and live there
AKIPRESS.COM – Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov met with residents of Arka village in Leilek district of Batken region as part of a working trip on September 29.
Residents expressed dissatisfaction that the country’s leadership does not come to them to hear about their problems.
According to the villagers, the houses are not as important for them as the resolution of the border issues.
They asked for guarantees that peace will be established, and that the Tajik army will no longer attack settlements.
The villagers offered the leadership of the country and deputies of the Parliament to come and live in Arka village.
As part of his working trip, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers got acquainted with the facilities that were damaged during the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
