Somon Air will operate a special flight on the Istanbul-Dushanbe route

DUSHANBE, 08.08.2020 / NIAT “Khovar” /. Somon Air will launch a special flight on the Istanbul-Dushanbe route on August 11. The purpose of the special flight is to transfer the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan from Turkey to their homeland.

The press service of Somon Air informs that citizens of Tajikistan wishing to return home can apply to the diplomatic missions of Tajikistan in Turkey and the representative office of Somon Air in Istanbul. According to the new requirements of the Istanbul airport, only laptops, women’s and children’s bags can be taken as hand luggage on board. Other passengers’ belongings are carried as luggage. The free baggage allowance for the Istanbul-Dushanbe route is set at 20 kg. Flight time from Istanbul is 12:00 local time. Check-in takes place from 9:00 to 11:20.

All passengers are required to wear a mask and protective gloves. Passengers with high fever or symptoms are not allowed on board. Passengers will be screened in Tajikistan after landing and will remain in the quarantine zone until the test results are determined. Individuals diagnosed with Covid-19 infection will be covered by diagnosis and treatment in quarantine areas for 14 days. Passengers who have a “negative” test certificate within 48 hours of arrival will be allowed to enter the country without hindrance. These individuals must register with the local health authorities and voluntarily remain isolated for 14 days under medical supervision.

Citizens wishing to fly to Tajikistan on a special flight from Istanbul should contact the airline’s information center, Somon Air’s representative office in Istanbul, and the Aviation Agency to purchase tickets and obtain additional information.
