Negotiations with Deputy Secretary General of Malaysian Foreign Ministry

On August 7, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Deputy Secretary General (Multilateral Affairs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Nadzirah Binti Osman via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Issues of further building up Uzbekistan – Malaysia partnership in all areas of mutual interest were discussed during the talks.

The parties expressed interest in mutual exchange of experience in public administration and personnel policy, studying the system of retraining and advanced training of civil servants.

The relevance of organizing training courses in public health and safety in the current conditions of the global pandemic, as well as in such important areas as management, marketing, small and medium-sized business, information technology, agriculture and tourism was noted.

Other issues on Uzbekistan – Malaysia agenda were also discussed at the meeting.
