Jasur Rustamkhonov, the captain of the team, became the leader in the race of scorers. He scored 26 points (14 goals and 12 assists) in 5 games.

It is worth noting that another important news has happened for the hockey federation of Uzbekistan. After David Prokofiev, 19-year-old Sergey Ermakov also became an international judge. It was at the championship held in Mongolia that Joel Hansson, head of the referee development department of the IIHF, handed Ermakov’s license to Vladislav Kiselev, the head of the TSF referee department.

The Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan was established in 2018 at the initiative of the President of the country Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. Its main goals are to develop and popularize hockey in the country. The work being done is bearing fruit.
