The open joint stock company “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” continues to carry out international cargo transportation, widely using the country’s transit capabilities.
So, on September 9, in cooperation with OJSC Uralkali, 380 wagons loaded with potassium were sent from the Solikamsk railway station from Russia. Crossing the territory of Kazakhstan, the cargo is sent to third countries through Turkmenistan.
Cargoes with a total volume of 24,982 tons will arrive at the Bolashak border station in Kazakhstan and continue on their way to Iran, crossing the territory of Turkmenistan. Wheelsets will be rebuilt for cars at Sarakhs station.
The final point of cargo transportation will be the seaport of Bandar Abbas. From here, potassium will go to the countries of East Asia – India, Vietnam, Indonesia and others.
The open joint-stock company “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan”, acting as a cargo transportation operator at the Sarakhs station, provides significant assistance in rearranging the wheels of wagons and transporting cargo to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.
In total, about 33,000 tons of cargo with potassium will pass through the territory of Turkmenistan in stages along a route with a total length of 1,133 km.
More wagons are expected in the coming days.
